Spook

My lady, with each read of your newer poetry, I am becoming more and more of a fan. You are just growing poetically more and more with each write. This piece is testament to that.  

I love this for so many reasons I couldn't list them all. But these are some...

-the rhyme is subtle and not forced at all, it's lying there in undertone and that creates the most stunning flow to this wonderful poem.

- you load image after image here with the least possible word use and that just creates so much impact in the read.

Yes I love it! The image is so complimentary in this case. I adore that.

I'm wondering about the repitition of depth in the first line... Do you need it?
Would this hook quicker without the repetitive?  

In the  
depth of
midnight

?
But just a question that, because this is awesome! Thank you for the read.

Hey Al, for this go round I'll keep the dark, reason being, there are many shades of midnight and for lil Spook his existence came about in the darkest shades of midnight, I hope this makes sense. Now then;

Your praise has lifted me beyond the sun, moon's and star's. To me, before I got lost in  the word's, a fun and exciting puzzle but just a slew of word's to other now I do a quick and light edit then off I go. Indeed you all's critique has taught me much. I am very impressed with your progression as a poet, SURVIVOR. This builds both suspense and simultaneous intrigue.

One thing:

for* verses four, which is numerical. Unless there's some significance in the numerical that I'm missing.
