i never asked for any of this

i never asked for any of this
i never asked yet this is what i receive?
a waste paper bin, maybe that's me?
a bee does nothing but ask for the sun
butterflys need the freedom to fly
when i step outside of my front door
the rain pours in fountains
i never asked yet this is what i received?
enduring rain upon my vulnerable skin
simply because i have no choice and i've nowhere to hide
choices, wants, rights , needs on this human earth
safety should have been mine
it was taken away from me
birds nest exposed to the elements
safe shell removed
like a chick coming out of hatching
after all of this time she is now petrified
sitting in her comfortable protected home
exposed to the elements, without a skin
the mother of the newborn has disappeared
and now the chick is all alone without a safe skin
at risk to everything, the environment is a danger zone
rights have gone out of the window literally
because now that she is vulnerable, weak
the bad can slap her over the cheek
knock her over, attack , push
she wants to go back into her skin, the eggshell
in which she was born ,
exposed to the elements,
withered and worn
fed up to the back teeth of the environment hurting her
causing a gentle mind madness and chaos
the chick is now alone pondering on the past
blaming her weak skin
her lack of protection, weak barrior
certainly no saviour
there was a hole inside and everything fell
a dumping ground to be filled up with so much bad
maybe she was a lonely chick and a waste bin
maybe that was the problem
being someone else, something else
that had to be the answer
