Breaking Bricks

Daily I'm breaking down these bricks
Converting them from dimes to nicks
Getting my fix by writing these poetic lines
Sharing with the readers what's on my mind

I'm trying to maintain my Iceberg Slim cool
I refuse to allow all this to make me a ghoul
School is in session and I'm teaching them lessons
They regretting taking for granted their blessings

Listen, I'm not taking shit from anybody anymore
Before I do that I'd rather knock on Heaven's door
I've been keeping score of those that do me dirty
Clearly they thought that they could just hurt me

I told these fools that I'm not a toy so stop playing
I'm a man whose changed & they don't understand
Not playing games & not repeating the same things
Better comprehend that I'm bringing B.S. to an end
