the one with a smile on her face and
sparkle in her eye
she
the one with an extent of depth that
makes the ocean shy
she
the one who soothes the hearts and minds yet
hers silently cries
she
the one who was once a bud and now
with beasts she does fight
She
the cleansing and soothing rain that heals
all the hearts of blight
she
the one who bore the world but now the
world has lost her sight
She
who began a life her own and now
others are her life
She
who forgot her 'self' her pride yet not
calls it sacrifice
She
says it is not for her when shown the
life of self and high
She
calls it permanent high ever since
her first newborn cried
She
the mother of man and beast and one
higher than the high
