In this hospital bed
Trying to hide
These tears that I'm crying
While you sleep
Praying to whatever god
Will listen
That you will be ok
Wishing we were
At home in our own bed
Next to your warmth
Feeling your heartbeat
Against my back
And your breathe
Upon my neck
Oh how I love you so
And hoping soon
We will get to go home
In this hospital bed

I feel for you - I have been there - it is an horrid deprivation of control and hope - I wish you well and hope everything turns out for the best. The verses were very expressive.
