Winds and mountains
When the winds, velvety and cold
Gust through an endless shore
While caressing all the free souls
Free souls, not you, a spirit old!
And the moon, dazzled and brightened
Veiled in the clouds, yet, like a lantern
While revealing itself to the enlightened
The enlightened, not you, oh frightened!
And so the mountains, proud and steadier
Faithful with the ground, in autumn and summer
While embracing the determined conqueror
The conqueror, not you, a lost wanderer!
The mountains, the moon, the winds and all,
Are worthy of the beings thick-skinned and tall
For, I am restrained, cocooned in a wall
A wall, for the fear of betrayals and fall.
Gust through an endless shore
While caressing all the free souls
Free souls, not you, a spirit old!
And the moon, dazzled and brightened
Veiled in the clouds, yet, like a lantern
While revealing itself to the enlightened
The enlightened, not you, oh frightened!
And so the mountains, proud and steadier
Faithful with the ground, in autumn and summer
While embracing the determined conqueror
The conqueror, not you, a lost wanderer!
The mountains, the moon, the winds and all,
Are worthy of the beings thick-skinned and tall
For, I am restrained, cocooned in a wall
A wall, for the fear of betrayals and fall.
