Double bind
Speak a double bind like
You must love me
And you’ll understand the crimes
Of the powers that be
Dance like no one’s watching
On demand and on cue
Be patient and polite
While they curtly rush you
Think outside the box
Within the circle provided
Learn to utilize a process
For someone else's excitements
While your own thoughts settle
And stay inside your dreams
Incarceration if you meddle
They get a medal, what's it mean
How do you get nirvana
How do you heaven reach
Stop asking for it silly
Look inside and set it free

I've felt this before..... that double-speak of "acceptance"...but within acceptable limits. Infuriating!
