Flirting with Death
She smiles so wickedly,
With eyes so sweet
A laugh so enticing,
To make the strongest man weak.
A cigarette hangs from her mouth,
A cold stare slightly meek,
Sinister and sexy,
Her poisonous mystique.
She looks at me lovingly,
With heavy remorse,
The closer I get to her,
The quicker I go hoarse.
My skin starts to shrivel,
My hair goes snow white,
The thing I feared most,
Finally comes to the light.
“You’ve evaded me long enough, my dear.
It’s time to come home.”
Blood falls from my eyes,
As my mouth brims with foam.
I cannot resist her,
I heed the call of the abyss,
Distracted by her touch,
She steals my soul with a kiss.
With eyes so sweet
A laugh so enticing,
To make the strongest man weak.
A cigarette hangs from her mouth,
A cold stare slightly meek,
Sinister and sexy,
Her poisonous mystique.
She looks at me lovingly,
With heavy remorse,
The closer I get to her,
The quicker I go hoarse.
My skin starts to shrivel,
My hair goes snow white,
The thing I feared most,
Finally comes to the light.
“You’ve evaded me long enough, my dear.
It’s time to come home.”
Blood falls from my eyes,
As my mouth brims with foam.
I cannot resist her,
I heed the call of the abyss,
Distracted by her touch,
She steals my soul with a kiss.
