Memories:
A cloak
sheltering from cold
in far away lands
taking us back home
to the warmth
they can also
tear us apart, knowing
it’ll never be the same
when all is lost and gone.

I have saved this for it's shear simplicity, yet the far reaching implications speak volumes.
Perhaps on the surface, one thinks in the physical realm, however when I delved deeper
into my thoughts, I found it applies to nearly every situation one can find themselves in.
