At times I stop to think and stall
And realise that I’m so small,
Near the mountains of Nepal
Or the builds of Taj Mahal,
Maybe I can’t understand
all the wonders of the land,
But can sure soothe up my sight
And all the books I could rewrite,
If I could spend an hour or two
Standing still looking at you,
Wouldn’t miss out on this chance
And could walk from here to France,
Just to be into that stance
To get a glimpse of your romance.
And realise that I’m so small,
Near the mountains of Nepal
Or the builds of Taj Mahal,
Maybe I can’t understand
all the wonders of the land,
But can sure soothe up my sight
And all the books I could rewrite,
If I could spend an hour or two
Standing still looking at you,
Wouldn’t miss out on this chance
And could walk from here to France,
Just to be into that stance
To get a glimpse of your romance.
