Dishonest White Flag (a collaboration between Ken Ebersole and Jadedembers)
Soft colors spook the
Nightmares temporarily away
Gods' artwork some exclaim
I'm more inclined to say its the
Devils' dishonest white flag
The clouds inside my mind
Get darker every day
The less I see the sun
The more my heart grows gray
Smoke swirls from my lips
Such sweet smoke
My dearest friend
Its the smoke from the
Battle with the devil last night
My soul has been consumed
With unrelenting gloom
It feels like no escape
From depressions embrace
He torments my mind
He tortures my body
With sin just to
Harm me like a coward.
If you ask me for the reason why
I can’t find it no matter how I try
It infests inside me like a sickness
Consuming my soul without forgiveness
It blindfolds my well being
Leaving me to regret the day
It makes me feel hopeless
And helpless in every way
Even when I’m happy
At something that I’ve done
I know it’s there waiting
And almost sure to come
Like a loosing myself down a
Rabbit hole that consumes
Everything you are
How does one see the bright side
Through all the darkness and despair
Nightmares temporarily away
Gods' artwork some exclaim

Devils' dishonest white flag
The clouds inside my mind
Get darker every day
