Her Eyes
Her eyes they dance within the light
holding on forever tight
blink not for what's not there
wishes on in gazes clear
words roll off a guilded tongue
keeping hearts and feelings young
Jump off now into waiting arms
as I gently graze upon your skin
with golden thoughts
of two lives akin
throw off not unto the wind
a kiss that's lain in lovers might
I, the moon, the stars
this night
holding on forever tight
blink not for what's not there
wishes on in gazes clear
words roll off a guilded tongue
keeping hearts and feelings young
Jump off now into waiting arms
as I gently graze upon your skin
with golden thoughts
of two lives akin
throw off not unto the wind
a kiss that's lain in lovers might
I, the moon, the stars
this night

Well Penned , JusTim :
I feel the poem , yet somehow feel these lines
as the heart of the words of the whole poem :
"words roll off a guilded tongue
keeping hearts and feelings young"
That leaves a taste in my mouth like a fine wine !

Thank you Blackwolf. I'm happy it left that impression. I was trying to convey that feeling.
