Generators slamming ,
and pounding in the back.
cartoon knives slashing
CO2 with a hack.
bumpers are rusty and the tip jars out,
help wanted signs posted yo there is no doubt.

white rice cooked
it's on fleek.

hit a new stand
every day of the week.
shrimp sauce POW!
quesarito goes boom!
i wanna climb aboard
they say "THERE IS NO ROOM !"

rolling Armadillo taco,
spooning meatball mash.
if you want artisan grilled cheese,
better taste the corned beef hash!

frozen or prepackaged, sometimes they cook it from scratch.
portable wagon baking cookies by the batch.
Pincho's,hot dogs and ,ice cream cones.
they know they can only park in designated zones!

I can say with some embarrassment that I've never had the chance to try food truck food. Not many around my area. But you made me hungry with this write. :-)

we have a food truck park in my city...then again Tennessee is one of the fattest states in the US lol.

We have a whole lotta food snobs here. Many restaurants and I think 1 food truck. I'm gonna have to hunt it down and try it

It used to be a hipster thing 3-4 years ago, I remember getting teased for going to one, it was "tacky" 🤣

Posted a similar poem myself here a few years aho entitled “Halal Cart”. We have thousands of them here in NYC. Lots of different takes on chicken over yellow rice. The difference lies in the spices.
