Before the Thorns

There they are
Beneath a tree
She and he
He and she
Gazes long
Eyes so wide
Filled with love
Deep inside
Hands caress
A cheek
A blush
Sweet words voiced
Whispers hushed
Breezes tickle
Hair so wild
Nose is buried
Lips, they smile
Teasing words
Make her giggle
In his arms
Snuggly wiggles
Lifts her chin
Sees his lips
Gently fall
On hers to kiss
Warm and soft
Sweetness grows
Love in bloom
As a rose
