Vision

In the valley,
a river flows.
In the valley,
creation is shown.
In the valley,
is where
I become
fully loved and known.

I imagine my time there,
waiting...
I imagine the sun there,
fading...
falling away,
beyond
the long day,
upon a mountain top
for a moment,
it lays.

In glorious color
it bathes.
In awe and worship
I praise
my Creator
whose work
is displayed
as silently
I wait.

I look
into His face...
I look
into His love...
From wounded hands
His glory flows,
my Creator
from above.

I breathe
the name of Jesus,
in gratitude
I weep,
His glory hidden
deep within,
revealed
in mercy reaped.

Overwhelmed
by my own grief,
I clutch the earth,
my weak hands cling,
within my grasp
it also fades,
yet...
my heart
begins to sing!

I turn my palms...
outstretched to Him,
soiled from death.
I allow the dust
of my soul
to trickle
from my control.

I raise empty hands
in offering,
yearning for
my King
to fill them
with His strength
to rise, to fly
with eagles wings!

Never weary
Never faint
Never sorrow
No restraints

Only glory,
mystery!
Only wonder
joy and peace!
Only love
and worshipping
my God!
my King!
my everything!

Praise the Lord!

“Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!

The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.

Who else has held the oceans in his hand? Who has measured off the heavens with his fingers? Who else knows the weight of the earth or has weighed the mountains and hills on a scale?

Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
