Fine lines
How do I love thee?
Let me count the lines
One, two, three
Each appear in wide variety
Created from the lives that grew inside
Constantly shamed for not being a certain size
Scrutinized by societies eyes
Not this time
Thick, flat, short, or long
They are me and have made strong
Realized beauty can not be defined by what people say
It comes from within and gets more powerful everyday
Took years to love these lines of mine
Learned to embrace what has become of me
Because the love I got in exchange for them will last an eternity

Each appear in wide variety
Created from the lives that grew inside
Constantly shamed for not being a certain size
Scrutinized by societies eyes
Not this time
