Unravelling
I'm holding my breath
the darkness is an infection
cutting the blood from my body
I can finally see my reflection
It's breaking me
It's consuming me
this world was created
through someone else's nightmare
unravel the truth
I'm beyond repair
It's breaking me

I sit here paralysed
I'm not the person I used to be
the ghostly shape of my heart still beats
but barely

please close your eyes
to the monster I'm becoming
I'm screaming empty promises
I'm breaking into nothing

Well hello Beautiful finally we meet. I've read all your work but never followed. Assumptions only make fools, I had assumed you were long gone, last post was 2017, now I'm very happy to hear your voice again.
