Writer's Block
The plight of a poet scorned
Hinges on the drip of the ink pen
No muse to seduce
The enthralling euphony
That is your lyric and testament
Each word, a piece of antiquity
Enduring the wavering times of life
Now hollowed, the vows
You dared to scribe on page and parchment
A deafening silence
What strange remains that remind
Remembering haunting memories of an enlightened state of being
A shadow of what was,
Dissociative and detrimental
Lead with legions of questions
misconceptions of self esteem
and identity snapchats with filters to give ego an opinion
Terrestrial ideals turn into tirades of meaningless mystics,
Lost in a motionless mirage of emotions
I won’t consult them
Only to succumb to the erosion of just existing
I wish I could understand the callousness of your condition
embracing the contradiction of your existence
No reward is worth mentioning…
The tragedy of laying down the pen for good
Hinges on the drip of the ink pen
No muse to seduce
The enthralling euphony
That is your lyric and testament
Each word, a piece of antiquity
Enduring the wavering times of life
Now hollowed, the vows
You dared to scribe on page and parchment
A deafening silence
What strange remains that remind
Remembering haunting memories of an enlightened state of being
A shadow of what was,
Dissociative and detrimental
Lead with legions of questions

and identity snapchats with filters to give ego an opinion
Terrestrial ideals turn into tirades of meaningless mystics,
Lost in a motionless mirage of emotions
I won’t consult them
Only to succumb to the erosion of just existing
I wish I could understand the callousness of your condition
embracing the contradiction of your existence
No reward is worth mentioning…
The tragedy of laying down the pen for good
