DREAMSCAPE : STALEMATE

Omnivalent ringing
I submit to its dominion
As my other senses
Are left behind me

Pain in the gaze
Patches of flesh
The soul bleeds out
Stitch me back together

Gentle prodding
Acid cornea
Biting down
The cloth is soaked

Screams pierce the iron and flame
Through the falling mist
And the cyanide tears
Are all that I feel

Telephone rings
I can hear it through the wall
I know that I am awake...
Please let me sleep...

Holes in my legs
Melting the mind
It is only hatred
That I find

Maggots writhe inside
Crackling, crunching
A femoral phantom
That I can't reach

Born again
Steel bath submission
Fused into the floor
Ipsilateral burns

And all is white
As my hands that aren't there
Reaching for Death's grasp
Find nothing

If only my eyes had a voice...
