Sufficient Grace

Adversity can create a warrior.
This life long trail was hand picked,
Just for you. To give you a brave resilient heart.
To build character forged with courage.
You quietly walk through this world.
As if you’re not a force to be reckoned with.
As if you haven’t battled against unseen evil.
With angels by your side, as a child.
As if, The Lords hand wasn’t upon your life
from before your first breath.

With humbleness draped over, your powerful spirit.
With the kind of God given authority to trample upon serpents.
That He only graces to those whom He has trusted with blessed brokenness.
Tribulations hand picked by grace. Shattered in all the right places,
To allow the light in. Given the gift to say, Thank you my Lord for this thorn,
In my side, with the tears still in your eyes.
