Oh Baby!
Unannounced vomiting
Farting at will, wafting
Playing with your big
Hairy balls in company
Pulling your dick hard
And stretching it tight
Scratching your own face
you could do with mittens
Fingers right up the nose
eating anything that you find
Picking your dirty bum
Taking off your own nappy
Wiping your ass on the carpet
Crying and screaming loudly
For no reason at all
Having to be spoon fed
Spitting and drooling
Oohing, ahhing and dadaing
Repeated crazy tantrums
Acting like a spoiled brat
Forgets who I really am
Forgets everything taught
Can't string a sentence together
Won't ever sit still for two minutes
Struggles to dress and undress
Struggles to wash and bathe
Hates the dog
Hates the cat
Hates his room
Hates his carer
Hates his Doctor
Hates his nurse
Hates his mother and father
Always trying to escape
But then he is 96 years old
The cycle of life
What a gift

Dementia is a cruel illness. My gran died of Alzheimer's disease. It was very sad at the end. She was so confused, it was heartbreaking.
