you opened my heart
and filled and filled it
and when i thought it was full
you filled it more
you didnt know
you were doing it
every word,every movement
every look,every touch
you made me feel as if
my heart was bottomless
it filled with our every meeting
my heart will never be filled
like that again
it takes along time to fill a heart
but no time to empty it
you have left a tidemark
that will never be reached again
and left a heart that will never
feel as full
and whats at the bottom now i have found it
a black lifeless waste
that weighs it down
and i tramp through it every day
