Mushroom Cloud
Mushroom Cloud
She is a child bride of the sixties
and she is lost in a mushroom cloud
Whenever she played her music
she always played it loud
She would always wear flowers
have them twined in her hair
Whenever someone said something
she really just did not care
Her dress was always sunflower pattern
oh and she always wore it so well
Just above her knees is where she always
made sure that it always fell
She always had sunglasses on even inside
but you could always see her eyes
You could tell she was full of fire and ready
to burn with one look from any guy
There is no future in her, only the past
she lives in it never to be cowed
Because she is a child bride of the sixties
and she is lost in a mushroom cloud
She is a child bride of the sixties
and she is lost in a mushroom cloud
Whenever she played her music
she always played it loud
She would always wear flowers
have them twined in her hair
Whenever someone said something

oh and she always wore it so well
Just above her knees is where she always
made sure that it always fell
She always had sunglasses on even inside

You could tell she was full of fire and ready
to burn with one look from any guy
There is no future in her, only the past

Because she is a child bride of the sixties
and she is lost in a mushroom cloud
