to fuck and shit and piss in verse
is like a painter painting saggy tits
and arses that would sooner see
the hairy toilet bowl
than Caesar’s fabled throne
the gnarled bone
the sticky cunt of palaces
that once were sought in earnest by
a metaphysics-dreaming horde
has ripened with repulsive fruit -
beauty is shite - long live the chute

I believe it was Indie who once said “poets have this horrible habit of making everything beautiful” - and this is relevant here. It’s a celebration of veracity. I loved that about it.
