Sleeping In(Daylight Savings)
I speak to spirits that sleep in the flowers
fire touches clouds and fills my mouth
with calm thoughts of things to say
the Sunshine spills all around us as shadows flee
into the last of moonlights mist
whispering through distant trees
The abyss and first truths lips
Touch
then kiss
in a violent embrace
As night
is consumed
by dawn
And sleep-pressed prayers
are swallowed
in yawns
against
darkness bold
and morning hue
pressing through each other
in a sigh
of awakening
fire touches clouds and fills my mouth
with calm thoughts of things to say
the Sunshine spills all around us as shadows flee
into the last of moonlights mist
whispering through distant trees
The abyss and first truths lips
Touch
then kiss
in a violent embrace
As night
is consumed
by dawn
And sleep-pressed prayers
are swallowed
in yawns
against
darkness bold
and morning hue
pressing through each other
in a sigh
of awakening
