Someone's secret
Please stretch to hear a whisper
Among your fancy dreams.
While all around is torn, I remain to mend the seams.
You've known my little secret
And I've let you hold it tight
For if I were to let it slip
I would face my darkest night.
"Don't say a word my love, don't say a word."
This secret you call my crutches is what cripples me every day.
In some ways I want to make you proud so you'll appreciate; have something good to say.
How are your actions so dark, yet your eyes reflect a lighter shade ?
I've seen you as a hero
But watched your glory fade.
"Don't say a word my love.
Don't you dare say a word."
