Ignored
ignored... again
you’ve pushed me one to many times
this feeling I can’t explain
it’s rising up
I can’t ignore it
I cannot fight it
because fighting it makes me want to bury myself deeper
but this feeling is shoveling me in
ignored
they think it’s no big deal
they think I’ll get over it
and most of the time I do
I ignored it
but I’m a volcano, ready to erupt
don’t tell me it’s nothing
when you see my fire coming
you won’t ignore me then
ignored
no other pain have I felt more
no other thing have I dreamed of killing more
than this feeling
of being ignored

Fairy, I understand completely the pain felt when ignored. You've described it well. If ignored then they are not worthy to know your story. Brava!

its so horrible to be ignored and it certainly can feel painful ! sometimes people don't realise just how terribly painful it is , until they are the ones who are ignored ! great piece of writing, which i very much enjoyed reading

So true! People really don’t understand it unless they themselves have felt the pain of being ignored, glad I’m not the only one who can relate. Those lines came out of the blue, funny how that works.. thanks so much for your wonderful comment 💛
