A turn for the better.

 
I wish I could go back and tell that hyper kid from 10 years ago that the world sucks but he doesn't have to make it worse for himself or others.

Place my hand on his shoulder and hand him a copy of "the stranger" and tell him to read every last word.

Turn on the news and tell him to study and learn from the mistakes of the present.Ruffle his hair and tell him that he has  nothing to be ashamed of.

Now I can only think back on those days when I walked the path of a blind fool.I dreamt of pointless vengeance and undeserving praise from my peers.


I learned from his mistakes and found a way to change course.Today I can gladly say that I have no regrets.

All I can do I use my mistakes as fuel to a better life and a more interesting future.
