in the seventies was
pretty grim
although,
since looking back is
momentarily very beguiling ..

Not sure where 'South of the river' is; however, I lived in Norfolk in the 70's and loved it. Hope to return some day.

South of the river here in Adelaide in the 70's was great...you could swim in the fuckin' thing, now if you jumped in your dick would fall off. Nice write Paul.
