Schism
Schism
A wise man stands in front of a large group preaching words of wisdom,
words to inspire, give hope and provide lost souls with a clear vision.
A teacher of the catechism,
keeping struggling souls out of prison
by teaching them of the kingdom
and exposing a corrupt system.
What he lacks in looks, he makes up for in charisma.
Some accuse him of creating a schism.
Others accuse him of running a corrupt business
using ancient, outdated journalism.
His followers come to him on their own accord, it’s their own decision,
To seek treatment for the ailments such as alcoholism,
an obsession with cannibalism,
image issues regarding their metabolism,
Issues with Catholicism,
racism,
autism,
cynicism
and understanding their own organism
until one day is approached by wicked men, tied to a tree with his mouth duck taped closed and accused of spreading lies to creating false optimism
for the lost souls among us all who all lack professionalism.
An artist creates master piece after master piece of marvelous paintings.
Beautiful pieces of art that look amazing,
but deep down create positive emotions to put an end to the world’s hating.
On lookers find his work to be amazing
as the wonder, aloud just how much training
he had to make such beautiful paintings.
The buy up his work as soon as it becomes available blowing through all of their savings.
He’s well respected and loved until one day,
a man approaches him and demands he puts the paint brush away.
He tells the artist he doesn’t care for his paintings or what they represent
and demands he destroys them all without argument.
The artist blows the man off and continues his painting as the man
Grabs a gallon of paint and begins to carry out a sinister plan.
He spills gallons of paint all over the artist’s work to ruin everything he has ever done.
The man’s attack has just begun.
He follows the artist day and night destroying any art he attempts to create.
Censorship appears to be the artists fate.
A library, massive and expansive loans out treasures the everyone who comes looking.
The loan out books of religion, books of history, books of science and books for cooking.
Books depicting the life of a famous rock star and the hell of constant touring
and books for children that are easily found without even looking.
The library is all inclusive and loans out to both the young and old.
They have books that explains the different types of governments and which one you really want in control.
They have books that explain how to survive when you are stuck outside in the cold
and have books that explain where to find gold.
The library is a hit and popular with everyone
until one day an angry man walks in after finishing up a bank run.
He condemns the library and all the books they carry.
After finishing up his Bloody Mary,
He takes matches out of his pocket and begins to set the library on fire.
The flames spread quickly as the library’s future seems dire.
The man laughs and exits the building as the employees scramble to put out the flames
but it’s too late and the library becomes a victim of the man’s heinous game.
A writer creates venomous rhymes to slaughter the weak-minded polluting and planet with their stench.
He desires to create art, expose lies, challenges minds both young and old and seek out revenge
against a hidden disease that ravages the earth with an unholy terror.
Although people view his work as nothing more than a typographical error,
he writes from his heart and soul with the upmost pleasure.
Every page of every book as miraculous endeavor.
From the shadows, a secret admirer
of all great writers of thrillers and horror.
People urge him to tame back his art but he says never,
never will he allow others to fucking think they are more cleaver.
Art is met to be free and expressive of one’s self.
Art can be found in a building, on a wall, coming out of a mouth or on a bookshelf.
Never should it be censored.
Never should it be tamed back.
Always free,
always expressive,
is how art is meant to be.
