The New Wild Wild West
peace, love, respect, where did it go?
it’s a world of defending our own agendas
let’s talk bullshit statistics
rather than solutions
for everyone who says something is wrong
there’s another one who says the opposite
I understand the world is not all rainbows and unicorns
doesn’t mean we should give up on keeping each other safe
yeah, people are over sensitive
but not when it involves lives
let’s get some laws in place
get guns away from the irresponsible and unstable
let’s tackle the problem at all sides
everything is a political issue
rather than just an issue
we don’t agree on anything anymore
just stubborn till everything turns to shit
calling each other names like children
not everything is so complicated
just look at the problems in front of your face
it’s like we’re all begging for a civil war
terrorist don’t need to attack us
we’re already tearing each other apart from the inside
and our kids see that
they grow up hating one another
this is a way of life for them
but everyone rather quote numbers
like they are really smart to do so
all I ask is to pray to whoever you believe
get on your knees and ask for a solution
follow the answer with all your heart
because no answer
is never the answer
