He Who Controls Me
He towers before me
ridding the room of any light
He moves calmly
and presents me the knife
I hesitate
trying to imagine a way out
He steps closer
and fills my thoughts with terror
He reminds me
of everything I loathe in life
I start to carve into my flesh
deeper and deeper than ever before
He lingers longer
until he is sure I am fully gone
Then he leaves
though his presence still haunts the air
ridding the room of any light
He moves calmly
and presents me the knife
I hesitate
trying to imagine a way out
He steps closer
and fills my thoughts with terror
He reminds me
of everything I loathe in life
I start to carve into my flesh
deeper and deeper than ever before
He lingers longer
until he is sure I am fully gone
Then he leaves
though his presence still haunts the air
