My Mother taught me to walk and talk
how to eat at the table some times
I don’t act like I know what I am doing
my Uncle taught me to run and whistle
how to shoot a gun I had to learn fast

had a hard life, as a young boy
I got my self into a whole world of trouble
that I did not see coming and it hit me real fast
Omg I made it out alive just with not a lot of time to spare
I all most landed in the can, I learned to love with ease

I also learned how to respect a woman and treat her right
but I did not do to well when they would leave never understood it
my woman at the time taught me passion that I had never seen before wondering why life is so hard for a man that is fair and honest
Always doing the right thing were a women is concerned

 not sure what to make of signals that might be there or not
I learned one thing that is for sure and I only have made it this far
because I remembered it loud and clear
Remember who you and where you come from

life will leave you with more than a scar
if it is scars of the heart then you will already know what I am talking about
live love be happy and stand up be a real man
don’t cheat love like there is no tomorrow.
