waves after waves
after waves after waves
roll onto the shore
crashing and splashing
retreating and dashing
back to the sea once more
rhythm and motion
the chaotic ocean
mixing with the air
frothing and tossing
on sand which it's crossing
over the edge which is where
entraining exotic
subconscious hypnotic
something deep inside
moves to the rhythm
that's so freely given
there is nowhere to hide
as waves after waves
after waves after waves
