Beautiful Stardust
After we kissed
I thought about who we were
and if any of that mattered,
was it the glass inside us
that shattered
when we talked about the grams
of our souls we'd fused together
in our blackened lungs,
or was it the star dust
in our eyes that made us
not want to look
in any other direction,
than into one another's heart
to see how beautiful
we both truely were?
I thought about who we were
and if any of that mattered,
was it the glass inside us
that shattered
when we talked about the grams
of our souls we'd fused together
in our blackened lungs,
or was it the star dust
in our eyes that made us
not want to look
in any other direction,
than into one another's heart
to see how beautiful
we both truely were?
