Idiocy has become a sort of disease I see
Folks are foolishly eating Tide pods in 2018
It's like everyday is a recurring bad dream
Intelligence is a thing of the past it seems

So as people play monkey see, monkey do
Each and everyone of them look like fools
Independent thought is a dangerous tool
That's why so many try to indoctrinate you

The thirst for fame is vain and psychological
Celebrity worship occurring all over the news
Molding minds & taking away personal views
Ingraining in our brains what we should choose

It's said that a mind is a terrible thing to waste
So what in the world is happening to this place
Our country is becoming a joke and a disgrace
Attributes of what is cool have been replaced

Becoming dumber and dumber will soon send us asunder
As we're closing schools but increasing our prison numbers
Jobs becoming so scarce as if they're all gone until November
Beware of this thing here as our youth keep yelling out "TIMBER!!!"
