Dandelions

Dandelions

Look into my eyes; this is where the story begins.
Look down the bottle, for it contains my sins.
I look up at the sky, it contains the stars.
Look at my face, it contains the scars.
Look at the sea, it contains my blood.
Look again, it’s nothing but mud.

Open your mind, are you ready?
This is where I go to escape the fate.

I dance in a field of dandelions.
Swim in a river of cyanide.
I find equilibrium between red and gray.
Yellow is a sight to see before it frays.

I live in the sun; its rays are my feed.
Living under the moon is a way to bleed.
I live among the animals since they share my soul.
You question my sanity, but that’s my goal.
Look into the mirror, what do you see?
Is it me looking back at you?

Open your mind, are you ready?
This is where I go to escape the fate.

I dance in a field of dandelions.
Swim in a river of cyanide.
I find equilibrium between red and gray.
Yellow is a sight to see before it frays,
before it frays and blows away.
