Lying, is what you learn to do when you have nothing better to offer one another...
Some say that jealousy is an emotion that demonstrates their love.
However, I beg to differ.
Jealousy, is a sign of dysfunction & immaturity. In fact, it’s indicative of ones incapacity to externalise healthy loving behaviours.
It is a trait of insecurity and patheticism as one clings on with underlying desperation.
Their is no hope in jealousy, and nothing can flourish when such destructive emotions emerge.
Hell, is resisting to accept that you can never undo the past, and refusing to move forward and embrace those who have the capacity to nurture & nourish.
Misery, attracts misery and the cycle of dysfunction continues to emerge as jealousy strangles the fertility of any relationship.
She stays with him because she’s too gutless & spineless to stand on her own two feet.
Come to think of it, we all make the bed in which we must lie within.
Key word being, lie.
And grown adults know that nothing good comes from a foundation built upon lies.

A damn good poem. And I agree with fully. There is no hope for a relationship built off jealousy and lies. Trust and space is a must in a relationship.

The last three sentences to which one may (ironically) say, "Never a truer word!" Like the pun of the "lie" word, makes me see the phrase "make your bed and lie in it" in another light.
