What CAN We Know About the Rapture ??
We can't know the time - "the day and hour"(Matthew 24.36).
So lets focus on what we CAN know.
We can know the context of the Rapture:
For we read that it happens right as "sudden destruction" is going on (1 Thessalonians 4.16 - 5.3).
A second passage says the same thing: We read that "that day" (of the Rapture) has to wait until the Antichrist reveals himself as the Destroyer("the Son of Destruction") (2 Thessalonians 2.3).
Logically, that should mean the Rapture waits until the day of the mass destruction which reveals the AC as the Destroyer !!
So people - everybody - should be asking their pastors, etc, just what is this "sudden destruction" that the Bible speaks of in connection with the Rapture? ?!!
The fact that nobody is focusing on this "sudden destruction" at all shows us what a pathetic condition the endtime Church is in !!!
We can tell what this mass destruction by the Antichrist should be.
For we read that,"The Beast will MAKE WAR against the saints," the Christian nations (Revelation 13.7).
That same verse adds that the Beast will "overcome the saints and receive power over every nation,"
In other words, the whole world !!!
This implies that this war will be world war.
Long story short, the Rapture occurs as World War 3 occurs.
So the Christians departing the world at that time - they would be only the Christians who are dying, due to the bombs being dropped by the Antichrist's military.
Christians who arent dying - they don't get raptured.
If the Antichrist takes over the world at the Rapture, doesn't this imply that he will be the ruler of a superpower nation ??
For if a NONsuperpower tried to conquer the world, the two superpower nations could wipe him out.
Yes, only a superpower nation fits as the aggressor nation.
The two superpowers are, America and Russia.
Since we (in America) aren't going to take over the world,
this leaves only Russia as the aggressor nation.
PS: let it be agreed upon -- Russia stands NAKEDLY exposed as the nation that will launch unprovoked nuclear war !!!
