If I could
I would pulse over planets
To visit Mars
I would zoom into your heart
Just to see what's in it
I would write volumes about you
Being the one and only
I would create a species
To stop you from being lonely
Exhilarating as you are
One step from being afar
Distant from my desire
To see you again
And be with you

I've tried to not respond to this because so many comments are self serving. But you said something Hooks by the look of things. Deep and hidden yet you understand. So please explain it to me as I haven't a clue. Thank you my ghost friend, as I fade away, you have gifted me. No worries, I'm not going anywhere until 2023.

I love it when someone asks me if I believe in love...I always say no...but I can certainly feel it as it warms my soul. Damn powerful poem David...each line lifts one up high.
