Tick, Tock

Dear father time,
How you have been cruel,
You've scold me in such ways,
That iv'e fought with demons in duels.

Oh father time,
Do you enjoy me suffering this much?
Iv'e had so many hardships,
Isn't enough, enough?!.

Iv'e been battered and beaten,
Pushed around from place to place,
Waiting for the day,
You'll end this fleeting race.

Oh father time,
Remember the good days we've had?,
It was all laughter, smiles and giggles,
But that was when i was a lass.

Dear father time,
I'll be wondering endlessly about,
Waiting for the day,
When time runs out.
