Slip Away Gently

Your blood, thick
and red, you sit and
silently debate in bed.
take the thin razor and
gently slit your wrist,
make letters, curves,
and painfilled twist.

sit and watch the blood
trickle down your pale
arm, question if this
is the right way to go,
self harm?

A small puddle of crimson
red, your thoughts spinning
in your head. Gently slip into
deaths cold grip...
as you numbly feel your skin
rip.
