Say Goodbye
Fighting to hold
on to myself.
Losing the battle
viciously.
I'm slipping away
while she takes over.
The words I speak
are no longer mine,
nor the choices
that I make.
She's winning the
battle and the war.
What's a girl to do?
I've always tried to
fight it, for as long
as I can remember.
Each year that I grow,
I see her breaking free.
Her addictions, her methhods,
her oddities, her lies.
I see them all in me,
no matter how hard I try.
I guess I just
don't care enough;
I'm givning up the fight.
And to all those
who can't handle me,
It's time to say goodbye.
