Denial (Triolet)
Go tear, (my eyelid drips),
upon your thankless errand;
fear not - the droplet slips
down face to lips so errant;
go, since my love has died:
now I must be denied.
Say to my chin, the rose
cheek's shade recalls the good
he did me with past blows,
when, once alive, he could
do all he wished - he tried:
now I must be denied.
Speak to the shadowed prints
that decorate my neck;
they've faded into hints
of all I've suffered. Yet
I'd suffer more - I've sighed:
now I must be denied.
Give solace to my breasts,
my cunt, my thighs - not slapped,
nor whipped now; nor caressed:
my vanity has collapsed;
I've sobbed and I have cried:
now I must be denied...
upon your thankless errand;
fear not - the droplet slips
down face to lips so errant;
go, since my love has died:
now I must be denied.
Say to my chin, the rose
cheek's shade recalls the good
he did me with past blows,
when, once alive, he could
do all he wished - he tried:
now I must be denied.
Speak to the shadowed prints
that decorate my neck;
they've faded into hints
of all I've suffered. Yet
I'd suffer more - I've sighed:
now I must be denied.
Give solace to my breasts,
my cunt, my thighs - not slapped,
nor whipped now; nor caressed:

I've sobbed and I have cried:
now I must be denied...
