Sleepless drag
Trudge through
Another hour

Spent awake
In weary delusion
Bloodshot confusion
Half aware, half lit
Nothing for amusment
Kill me kindly
With silence
A shot
Miles away
Whispering
Into my depths
of awareness
Drowning
In the sound
Surrounding
Echoing
Devouring
