All My Friends Turn to Enemies
I’m feeling so lonely in this room full of people
calling it quits when I’m sick of the party
wondering to myself why I even tried
those who want to use me attache to me
lured in by those who sought to abuse me
with friends like that who needs enemies?
I’m going home
(I’m going home)
when I’m over this shit
(done is done)
forget about me, not having fun
waste of my time, so going-going gone
don’t want to play, just need to run
all my friends turn to enemies
can’t talk to a girl without rumors being started
guess I’m fucking everything that walks
can’t even say hello without looking like a stalker
being friendly is so foreign these days
I get so sick so I fire hostility right back
like a pandemic the hate spreads and spreads
having to watch every fucking word I say
or I have to watch every word get distorted
blah,blah,blah
you may call me...
not a fucking coward

but in reality this is just me protecting my sanity
so thank god for see through friends
without them I wouldn’t know who to trust

This is an edit of an older write. Not that my thoughts have changed much. I just stay away from most fake people anymore. It gets tiring with all the drama people start.

Many people are a lot of noise. Say a lot of promises but don’t really mean what they say. People come and people will go. The true ones will stick around.

It is deeply painful for me. I do invest a lot in people only for them to throw me away at times. It is draining. It is also me and my life. Can only make the best of it.
