It's Just Not Fair
How do I tell him that I need him?
The grief, the sorrow, the loss
My wants, my needs are but a whim.
How do I tell him that he is all I want?
The happiness, the memories, his world
My heart, my passion I can not flaunt.
How do I tell him that I want to serve him?
The past, the control, the tears
My arms want to hold him, my sadness filled to the brim.
How do I tell him that it is he that I wish to please?
The grief, the sorrow, the loss
My happiness, my life I have to appease.
How do I tell him that I am there?
To hold him, to care, to wipe his tears
My time, my strength, it's just not fair.
How do I tell him that he is wrong?
For being so stubborn, for not wanting me close
My thoughts, my fears, are being controlled by sorrow's song.
How do I tell him?
