Money Makes The World Go Around

We live in a world full of money and dollar bills,
every time I walk out my door all I hear is the sound of beeps and tills.
To say the ‘root of all suffering is money’, is an understatement,
we live like robots and are selfish all to avoid those underpayments.
Rent is due, fridge is empty,
just to drive a car and called a loved one cost money... so don’t tempt me,
I can nearly understand those who cheat their way through life,
working hard and sacrifices to just make a living, sure isn’t right.
What happened to living simply and a country full of freedom,
we start buying and wanting things when we really don’t need em’.
Technology is a distraction and the cause of all desire,
 for a materialistic lifestyle which we work for endlessly till we die..ahh.
