The Balance of a Waste
The sun will never rise
I seek my way through darkness
Looking to less than the best
The faded lights of life
The darkness is good for the soul
But too much will take a toll
Take yourself to the other side
I don't seek the light
There has never seemed a need
Looking back, all I'd do is bleed
I much prefer the night
Light is like a drug
One taste and it will continue to tug
Until it is taken away
Never again shall I upset my balance
Forevermore, I shall sit in the darkness
I seek my way through darkness
Looking to less than the best
The faded lights of life
The darkness is good for the soul
But too much will take a toll
Take yourself to the other side
I don't seek the light
There has never seemed a need
Looking back, all I'd do is bleed
I much prefer the night
Light is like a drug
One taste and it will continue to tug
Until it is taken away
Never again shall I upset my balance
Forevermore, I shall sit in the darkness
