Silence On A Moonlit Night
Silence on a moonlit night
Disturbing thoughts enter my perfect dream
Words floating through the air
Through your ears I will never go
Your attitude is enough to put justice in my tears
Lonesome thoughts now enter my disturbing dream
My picture box flickers to static
Limits extended, exceeded, executed
You are my pain
I am your scapegoat
Your friend
Restless on a Friday night
I wish the silence was thunder
My eyes directing this life
Mystified by the stupidity I did not see
Adaptation is a pain
I am its victim
Your friend
My picture box flickers to black
Words travel from between your ears to mouth
Suppressed by the silence
Drifting like a set sea raft
You were my friend
I was your spine
Your spinelessness corrodes
To think that we once had a mountain range here
Acidic thoughts cool to the touch, but not the feel
Our disturbing beliefs have taken care of that
Our world is flat
Our dreams are dreamt
Your pain has entered my life
As silence chases us on a moonlit night
Disturbing thoughts enter my perfect dream
Words floating through the air
Through your ears I will never go
Your attitude is enough to put justice in my tears
Lonesome thoughts now enter my disturbing dream
My picture box flickers to static
Limits extended, exceeded, executed
You are my pain
I am your scapegoat
Your friend
Restless on a Friday night
I wish the silence was thunder
My eyes directing this life
Mystified by the stupidity I did not see
Adaptation is a pain
I am its victim
Your friend
My picture box flickers to black
Words travel from between your ears to mouth
Suppressed by the silence
Drifting like a set sea raft
You were my friend
I was your spine
Your spinelessness corrodes
To think that we once had a mountain range here
Acidic thoughts cool to the touch, but not the feel
Our disturbing beliefs have taken care of that
Our world is flat
Our dreams are dreamt
Your pain has entered my life
As silence chases us on a moonlit night
